The results of scanning are used by many galleries, auctions, private collectors and directly by authors. A digital copy is used for sale in photobanks, the creation of the electronic catalogs, the publication of books or brochures, etc.
Non-contact scanning is performed if:
– the surface is not flat and cannot be straightened without the object damage;
– the scanning surface may be damaged by contact with glass;
– the poor physical condition of the object;
– the light of the device can damage the object;
– the object type requires a maximum resolution (more than 1000 dpi).
Scanned images can be transmitted in any format (including tiff, pdf).
